If your applicant states they cannot release their credit report on their first try, but they are getting the error shown below, please send them a new screening order to allow them to try again.
In some cases, the applicant's attempt to release their credit report is not reaching Experian, so they need a new screening order to try connecting to Experian again.
Here is what it may look like in your landlord account, for an applicant who was not able to connect to Experian.
Please send your applicant a new screening order by navigating to Dashboard > Screen > Order.
Check off the same reports you included in their original order. Select the applicant's name from the drop down of already created applicant profiles (Under the "Prospective Tenant" section).
Email Screening Request. This serves the applicant a fresh link to work from.
