Question: What does this "certify application" button mean?

Answer: Our Rental Application includes a statement about certifying the info provided is true and correct.

The "certify" button for the applicant is there for them to certify the info they have input into the rental app is true and complete. It is considered an electronic signature from the applicant.

If you are viewing it in your LL account: As far as the statement you see in your account in the Applicant Details section, that is there in case you transcribe information from a submitted, written application, or take the information verbally from an applicant and save it in your account. You are acknowledging that the information was provided to you.

Our free rental application has an authorization statement that the applicant needs to acknowledge, stating that the information they are providing is accurate and not false or misleading.

Click the check box, for certifying the info you provided in your rental application is true and complete.
