Early Termination Clause

Question: How can I add an early termination clause to the lease? Is there a template for that? Or could I possibly create one myself and then have LeaseRunner's lawyers look at it?

Answer: While we don't have a template for early termination clause, we do have an agreement that you can execute to terminate early, it is called the: Lease Termination Agreement.  It can be found under Templates> My Universal Templates in your LR account. This document would be sent separately to be executed as soon as you know when your tenant is moving out.

If you wish, you can build such a clause into your lease agreement.

Go to Templates > Duplicate our lease for your state > add the Early Termination clause > Save. You can write it as you wish. If you feel like you need an attorney to look at it, it would have to be a licensed attorney in your state. LeaseRunner does not provide legal advice.
