Once you have added a property to your LeaseRunner account, navigate to the the "Templates" tab. Here you will find two tabs, "My Universal Templates" tab, which houses common documents such as Condition of the Premises doc, Pet Agreement, and Renter's Insurance Addendum to name a few.
The second tab is called "My State Specific Templates" which houses Residential Lease Agreements specific to each state. Our legal team vets these documents annually to comply with new legislation as it passes.
If you would like to make changes to any of our documents you may edit the existing templates or create your own! Simply click the "duplicate" button to the right of the document you wish to edit, Rename the document, make your changes and save! To create your own document, click the "Create New Template" button from your Templates tab in the upper right hand corner.
Your newly edited document will be available to select from the list of documents when you are ready to Build your Lease Batch to send to your tenant for electronic signature through Lease Runner!
Please note: Lease Runner does not provide leases for printing. Lease Runner is designed for those who want to e-sign the lease documents through our software program.
The property manager or landlord pays a $43 e-sign fee, which includes multiple documents in the lease batch, all sent to the tenant(s), co-signers, and landlord for electronic signature, and once all parties have signed, we house the executed document batch in our secured server for you!
Important! It is up to you, as the landlord, to make sure the lease documents you change/edit are compliant with state/local laws.
