Question: Can my applicant forward their tenant screening link to a spouse, roommate, or other applicant?
Answer: Please do not forward or share emails for tenant screening. Each tenant screening link is unique for that individual. Therefore, sharing that URL with someone else will disrupt the application process. Links should not be shared.
If another applicant want to apply, they should get their own link from either the property manager or the listing ad.
Our Rental Application process is designed for one order per person.
Sending out an order for a rental application, creates a record (or profile) for that individual in your LeaseRunner account. This makes it easy for you to track who has applied by supplying you with a chain of events for that applicant.
This means that two applicants applying together, (like a married couple for example) would get separate screen orders, one for each of them.
We cannot process multiple people on the same screening order link.
Preferably, each applicant should have their own email address. It is not recommended to share the same email address for multiple people. (It can cause confusion on the part of the applicants, trying to fill out details for a spouse, family members, roommates, etc.)
In other words, one individual per order means one SSN per result.
Each applicant will pay for their own tenant screening fee.
If you wish to screen only one spouse, we still recommend to send the second spouse at least a rental application to fill out so that a record/profile will be created for the spouse. To send just the rental application is free.
To send a rental application only, go to Dashboard > SCREEN > check Rental Application and > Send.
