How LeaseRunner's Rent Payment Portal (Tenant Payment Center) is Used

LeaseRunner's Tenant Payment Center is a payment portal, where the tenant's account is connected to your property bank account for when a payment is made. 

Here are some features of our Tenant Payment Center (TPC) to keep in mind:

• To set up the TPC account, tenant verifies his/her identity and authenticates their bank account before the TPC account is set to make a payment. 
  
  Here is how the Dashboard of the TPC looks like when the account is set up: 

• The current rent amount is displayed when the tenant clicks "Make Payment". 
• The tenant can highlight the amount and change it to any amount they wish to pay, so even if your default rent amount is incorrect at the time a payment is being initiated the tenant has control over the amount paid. 
• Your tenant can also pay prorated rent, deposits, late fees, utility portions, basically anything they need to pay you.
  
  

• Tenants can sign up for autopay, which allows them to pick the day of the month for the rent withdrawal, and the amount to withdraw. The tenant has control over this feature and can turn it on and off to suit their needs. If a tenant is on autopay and you increase the rent amount you have the option to have an automated email sent to the tenant informing them that they need to update the autopay amount for the changed rent. Until they do so the autopay will continue to withdraw the last amount the tenant authorized.
