Property Manager vs. Property Owner

The Property Manager is responsible for leasing the property. LeaseRunner reports to the Property Manager on file if an applicant applied, if a tenant signed a lease agreement, or if a tenant paid rent.

The Property Manager is also a signer on the lease documents and therefore a party to the lease. There is currently only one Property Manager enabled for signing the lease electronically. LeaseRunner doesn't allow for multiple Property Managers on the lease. 

• Sharing Files in LeaseRunner: The Property Manager can share results of the screening reports with the Property Owner or others by providing a Username and temporary password (automatically generated) to the new user or by downloading any PDFs and emailing them outside of LeaseRunner system.

The Property Owner plays no role in any of the leasing transactions.  However, LeaseRunner includes contact information for the Property Owner to be used by the property manager in managing their business.
