Moving Applicants to a Different Unit within a Property

• Moving Applicants to a different Unit within the same property

Go to Properties > Manage Occupants > On Applicants side, select the name of the person from the list of applicants. This takes you to their Applicant Details page. From the Applicant Details page, click the "Change Unit" button and select the unit within the property you wish to move this applicant to. It's that easy! 

• If you are trying to move a Tenant into a different unit (not Applicant)

You cannot move a tenant from one unit to another unit after they are "moved in" in the system. However, you can "move in" the applicant record within a property to a different unit (see above instructions) and then select them as a tenant. The key here is that you are navigating to the "Applicant Details" page (not the "Tenant Details" page)

Use the Add Applicant Without Screening button on the Manage Occupants page to create a profile record for the applicant, and then "move in" that record as a tenant under the correct unit. 
 

•  If you wish to move applicant/tenant from one property to a different property

You cannot move an applicant or tenant from one property to a different property. In this case, you will have to click "Add Applicant Without Screening" button at Manage Occupants page of the new property to add the tenant manually.
