If you have a rental property with more than one unit, you can indicate it as such in your LeaseRunner account under the Properties tab.
Organizing your rental properties by unit number helps to screen applicants by unit number as well.
How to add a unit to your property: Go to Properties>> Edit Property Data>> At the top right where it asks: "Do you have more than one unit at this address?" Click "Yes"> Save.
Next, you will see the property has been created with it's own line item and you can click on "Add Unit" and give the "Unit no" a label such as 5B, or 101, as an example. You can have multiple units per rental property address. Just continue to use this "Add Unit" button to add more units.
Example: More Than One Unit At A Street Address
- 123 Main St. Unit 101
- 123 Main St. Unit 102
Example: Different Street Address
- 123 Main St.
- 124 Main St.
To delete a Unit, navigate to Properties > Edit Lease Terms > scroll to the bottom, click "Delete Unit" button.
To have a unit number displayed on Lease documents, the property address must be listed as having more than one unit. If you see that no unit is displayed in the Lease batch for {Address} merge field, follow the above steps to add a unit.
