Late Fees

LeaseRunner does not enforce the collection of late fees on behalf of your tenant if their rent payment is late.

It is the responsibility of the landlord to communicate the late fee is owed, and it is the responsibility of the tenant to include the late fee in their next rent payment amount. 

The Tenant Payment Center works like an electronic checkbook for your tenant.

If your tenant incurs late fees, he or she has to submit the late fee with the next rent payment. 
Example:  
If your rent is $1000 and the late fee is $25, your tenant will be able to submit $1025 in one payment.
