Password Policy Requirements

Why we require a new password every 90 days.

Our password policy requires the user to change their password every 90 days. This password policy is in place because LeaseRunner is a reseller of credit reports furnished by the major credit bureau, Experian. Currently Experian has this security protocol in place to help ensure credit report access is protected appropriately.

Our password policy (cannot use old passwords, may expire, etc.) is set by Experian for the safe handling of accounts that could have access to credit reports. We cannot change our password policy, as doing so would jeopardize our business relationship with Experian. We want to take every precaution to keep accounts with credit report access strictly protected.
