Where can I change my rent amount?

If you would like to change the rent amount for a property, navigate to "Properties" tab > "Edit Lease Terms". This takes you to the page in your account where the monthly rent amount can be changed (along with the security deposit amount, late fee amount, and even who will pay the ACH fee for on-line payments through LeaseRunner).

This page is also where you can indicate whether you'd like to require renter's insurance from your tenant.

PLEASE NOTE: Do you use Lease Runner to collect rent payments from your tenant(s) online? If so, when changing the rent amount in your landlord account, it is advisable to follow the workflow provided, and to select "yes" for the question about sending your tenants an email with instructions for updating the new rent amount in their TPC account. This workflow process was put in place to make it easier for landlords and tenants to keep up with the changing rent amount and to help ensure the correct rent amount gets paid.

Alternately, if you are building a Lease batch and you notice you want to change the Rent amount, click on the blue editable field on the lease preview and type in the new rent amount you'd like to have on the lease and save changes.
