You can sign a lease with new tenants, while you keep your existing tenants in the "Tenants" section of the Manage Occupants page.
If you have current tenants listed on the "Tenants" side of your Manage Occupants page, leave them there and simply use the "move in" button to select applicants already listed on the applicants side of the Manage Occupants page (if they were screened using LeaseRunner).
-OR- Use the "Add Applicant Without Screening" button to create an applicant record in the system. Once you "Save Applicant" next, "move in" that person and set Lease Dates.
Pro Tip: after your tenants have physically moved out from your rental property (and they don't owe you any more rent money) you can use the "move out" button in your LeaseRunner account, which will automatically move them into the "Archived" section of the Manage Occupants page under "Past Tenants".
- The "Move Out" function automatically disables Autopay and deactivates their Tenant Payment Center account to prevent rent payments from continuing to process after a tenant has vacated. (Or the tenant can disable Autopay themselves by logging into their Tenant Payment Center account and selecting "Disable Autopay" button.)
